The children were sleeping at the crib, as I was strapped in with a baby to my back. Ha! It was all falling into place, but it was not quite done. I decided to quit building my old furniture for a few months and stay home with the kids. It was exactly what I needed at that moment. After a couple of months, the phone began to ring. Many people called me for help about home improvement or decorating. The majority of them were people who had been through my home during the furniture open houses! After that, I gradually took on new clients at my own speed. Then I was able to have many clients, and had as a home improvement business. When you first spoke to me about my business in home renovation I was astonished. When I look back, it still makes me giggle.
